Frequently Asked Questions
Can I change my own faucets?
While you certainly may possess the abilty to change out your own kitchen or basin faucets, before doing so please consider the following. Do you have the tools required? Do you have all the parts needed without making more trips to the supplier? If you answer yes to these 2 simple questions then you are set to go for it. There really is no feeling like doing something yourself. Remember to shut the water off under the sink.... or call us for a qualfied installer.
How do I clear a plugged toilet or sink?
The first thing you will need is a good quality plunger. Placing the plunger over the drain of the sink or toilet, press the plunger down with force and quickly pull back up. Several attempts may be required as it is a bit of an art to use this simple tool correctly. If plunging does not clear it you will require more advanced tools....a toilet auger for toilets and a small hand snake for sink drains.
My sewer is plugged, now what?
First thing to do is not panic. Make sure that there is no water running in the house as this will almost always stop the backup. Make sure no washing machines or other automaticly runnig fixtures will start up and discharge their water. For this type of problem it is best to call a full service drain company (such as ourselves) and have this dealt with quickly.
